銳力科技成立於1990年，初期是一個系統設計公司，之後轉型為軟體及半導體零組件代理商，提供密集技術支援服務和 OEM 零組件 & 軟體銷售的業務。
過去，銳力成功的代理品牌銷售，其中包括 NeoMagic 的 LCD VGA Controllers, Vadem 的 PCMCIA Chips 以及 SystemSoft 的 Mobile Computing BIOS 和 BVRP 的 Modem Software 等，皆在台灣地區 IT 市場擁有 50% 以上的市佔率佳績。
自1998年起，銳力不僅加強在 IT 市場的 Cardbus controller, NB KBC、Hard Disk Drives，更延伸至其他應用領域產品如 Automotive video decoder & LCD scalar, Consumer Video compression & decompression, USB graphic /video solutions, USB digital audio solutions, PND; 2010年起更加入 Medical / Industrial CCD Image sensors & lens 產品和中國市場.
Regulus was founded in 1990 as a System Design Company and then turned to a Software and Semiconductor Component Distributor and Representative, offering intensive local technical support as well as OEM components distribution.
In the past decade, Regulus has successfully marketed NeoMagic's LCD VGA Controllers, Vadem's PCMCIA Chips, SystemSoft's Mobile Computing BIOS and BVRP's Modem Software to Taiwanese IT Markets and dominated the market with 50%+ share.
Starting 1998, Regulus has not only enhanced in IT market with Cardbus controller, NB KBC and hard disk drives, but also has expanded to consumer market with products in Video codec / compression & decompression, DTV, Fingerprint, USB devices, PND / GPS; in 2010, Regulus added China operation and focusing on medical / industrial applications with CCD image sensors and lens products.
